As an independent non-profit corporation, the Village Employees Benefit Fund seeks to provide an annual cash appreciation gift to all hourly employees as a way to say thanks for making sure HSV is a safe, beautiful, and healthy place for all its residents.
As a part of our wonderful Village, residents play a key role. The VEBF collects cash donations (by check or credit card) from Villagers and many of our local businesses. At the end of each year, cash collected is awarded equally to all full-time and part-time hourly employees.
When you think about it, no trash gets picked up, no golf is played, pickleball and tennis courts are not maintained, no concert is performed at the Woodlands, streets are not maintained, water and sewage won't get processed, and our beaches wash away.
Nothing happens in Hot Springs Village until a POA employee comes to work.

The Village Employees Benefit Fund depends exclusively on donations from Village residents and support from local business sponsors.
The VEBF keeps operating expenses low to ensure the most significant benefit to POA employees. Our all-volunteer board of directors assists in these efforts to keep our costs low.
Thanks to the support of our donors and sponsors, in 2025, the Fund was able to provide a year-end cash appreciation gift of $400 to each full-time POA hourly employee and $200 to each part-time employee. Your donation is needed to ensure we can continue to support our POA employees at the highest level possible.
The Village Employees Benefit Fund provides these annual year-end gifts to only POA hourly employees, not middle and upper management. The Fund is not affiliated with the POA, and this show of appreciation is entirely separate from any employee benefit programs initiated by the POA.
While our annual fundraising effort takes place during the last quarter of every year, we can accept donations anytime.
